Chuck Morse is the Assistant Secretary of the Louisiana Office of Tourism. It is a division of the Louisiana Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism, overseen by the office of Louisiana Lt. Governor Mitch Landrieu and DCRT Secretary Angele Davis.

Morse has served with DCRT since 2004 and his current position includes oversight of the Mississippi River Road Commission, the Red River Development Council, the Atchafalaya Trace Commission and the Louisiana Scenic Byways program. Prior to his arrival at DCRT, Morse held positions with Washington D.C.’s Convention and Tourism Corporation and the city’s Convention and Visitors Association, the Aimats Corporation and the New Orleans Job Corps.

His memberships and affiliations include the American Society of Association Executives and the International Association of Convention and Visitors Bureaus. He also chairs Louisiana's Hospitality Signage Program and is a board member for the Keep Louisiana Beautiful program.

Morse holds an undergraduate degree in public administration from Virginia State University, and a graduate degree in urban studies from the University of New Orleans. He and wife, Judy, and their two children live in New Orleans.
