LeAnne Weill is the Interim Assistant Secretary for Tourism as of last week. Her first career was as a professional dancer. She trained at The American Academy of Performing Arts and with Martha Graham in New York. She was a member of the Chicago Dance Theatre for three years. For the last 25 years she has served as President of The Weill Agency, an advertising / public relations firm established in 1958. She has won numerous state and national awards for advertising excellence. She holds two degrees from LSU and an MFA from The Art Institute of Chicago.
