Liz Bittner is a 20-year veteran of the travel and tourism industry. Her award winning marketing accomplishments include building marketing alliances with domestic and international tour operators, cruise lines, attractions, restaurants and hotels to achieve strong results. Her background includes business development for niche marketing organizations and leading the tour and travel marketing efforts for Cendant Corporation, a multi-diverse franchise travel company.
Bittner’s accomplishments include being selected a top three finalist in the Travel Industry of America’s Odyssey Domestic Marketing Awards for two years running. She was awarded the African American Travel Conference Marketing Award for Diversity Initiatives and served on TIA’s Scholarship Award Council.
Bittner has also authored several workbooks for hotels selling and servicing the group tour industry. She is a frequent featured speaker at tourism meetings and conferences and has served as a member of the National Tour Association’s Research and Development Council, TIA’s Marketing Committee, the American Bus Associations’ Educational Committee and Tourism Works for America Council.
Bittner holds a B.S. in Marketing Communications from Ohio University and resides in suburban Atlanta with her husband and three children.
